Mike Staton, CPA, was a Founding Director of Alerding CPA Group in 1998 serving as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. He became Managing Director in 2011. During his 35 years in public accounting, Mike has served a client base including service organizations, nonprofits, wholesale and distribution, construction, employee leasing, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, franchises, civic organizations, schools, health and welfare organizations, law firms and national patriotic organizations.

He continues to build the firm by expanding its services such as offering ESOP consulting, trustee services, mergers and acquisitions and succession planning. Mike has long-established relationships with most central Indiana banks, allowing him to be an integral part in securing financing as his clients prepare for future growth or restructuring.

Mike prides himself on his accessibility by maintaining an open-door policy allowing staff to harness his knowledge for the betterment of all of Alerding’s clients. He leads by example through his outstanding work ethic and unequaled dedication to our clients.
